My name is Anna Julia Skaggs, I am creative director and strategic foresight practitioner working at the intersection of design, retail and future thinking.
I help brands see further, decide earlier and build relevance that lasts.
I have more than 20+ experience being a creative leader, manager for commercial companies in Europe, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mexico, USA. Working for a global company from an interior designer to manager and being consultant in the creative global hub in Sweden.
With over a decade of global experience in interior design, creative leadership, and business transformation, I work at the intersection of design, strategy, and real life. I’ve collaborated with international brands, cross-functional teams, and diverse cultures to create spaces, systems, and solutions that truly work.
Working internationally has shaped how I see the design process, clearly, end to end. From concept and creative direction to resources, deadlines, and implementation. Whether it’s set design, retail environments, product presentation, or coaching creative teams, I work best inside the process, where decisions matter.
Over the years, this approach has allowed me to grow from specialist to creative leader and entrepreneur, lead international teams, deliver complex projects on time and on budget, and support businesses through moments of transformation and uncertainty.
My experience includes:
